AI Use Declaration Guidelines for Authors
The Research of English for Academic Purposes in Asia (RANIA) requires authors to transparently disclose any use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools during the research, writing, analysis, or publication preparation process. This policy ensures academic integrity, promotes responsible AI use, and maintains trust in scholarly communication.
Acceptable Use of AI Tools
Authors may use AI tools for the following purposes as long as their use is appropriately acknowledged:
- Grammar or language editing
- Formatting assistance
- Data visualization support
- Statistical or computational modeling
- Generating ideas or outlines (not full manuscript sections)
- Checking references or citation formatting
Unacceptable Use of AI Tools
Authors must NOT use AI tools to:
- Generate entire sections of the manuscript (Introduction, Method, Results, Discussion, etc.)
- Fabricate data, references, or findings
- Manipulate images, graphs, or research results
- Produce content that hides plagiarism or violates ethical standards
AI Declaration Statement
AI Declaration:
The authors declare that AI tools (specify the tool(s) and version) were used only for (describe the type of support, e.g., language editing, grammar checking). No AI tools were used to generate, analyze, or interpret research data, nor to write any substantive part of the manuscript. The authors take full responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of the content.

Plagiarism
The act of replicating results, data, or ideas and then presenting them without proper citation, referencing, or consent from the original publisher is known as plagiarism. Turnitin will be used to first screen all submitted articles for plagiarism using a similarity index. Articles with a similarity index of 20% or more will be disqualified without additional peer review. It is then suggested that the authors edit and resubmit the Manuscript. This journal will not accept any fake or plagiarized information.
